CTCards v1.58 For Windows Mobile. 7 card games for the price of one!
This author is a true card game specialist: the collection takes up 250kb with quite acceptable graphics.
He gives us Pocket Solitaire, Freecell, Blackjack, Spades, Klondike, Pyramid, Golf solitaire, classic games that you find on many platforms.
The level of Spades needs improvement, but, all in all, this collection of games is quite enticing.
FreeCell
This is a version of solitaire where the objective is to move all
of the cards from the stacks at the bottom to the foundation at the
top right of the screen. This is accomplished using the spaces
at the top left as temporary holders for up to four cards. The
rules for this game can be found on the web and are identical to
the version found in the various Windows Operating Systems. In
order to start a new game, select New Game from the game menu.
BlackJack
This is blackjack as found in the casinos in Reno (the only place
I have played). There are a several options including the number
of decks, double down on 10 or 11, or on any two cards, and
dealer hits a soft 17. If you don't specifically place a wager
your last wager is used. To place a wager, either use the Wager
menu item in the Game menu, or tap on the chips on the bottom
right to add that chip to your wager.
Golf Solitaire
The purpose here is to move all of the cards in the stacks at the
top to the foundation (face up) at the bottom. This is done by
selecting any card that is either one above or one below the card
at the top of the foundation. This card is then moved to the
foundation and the process is repeated. Cards from the pile can
be moved to the foundation and the process is repeated until all
of the cards from the pile are exhausted. Also, when a King is
placed on the foundation, no other cards can then be played on
that King. The score is calculated by counting the number of cards
remaining in the stacks. The lower the score the better. If all
cards are removed from the stacks, the score is below par (zero)
and is the number of cards left in the pile.
Poker Solitaire
The purpose here is to place the cards from the stack in the bottom
right corner into the squares in the 5 x 5 grid and create poker
hands in each of the rows, columns, and diagonals. When all 25
cards have been placed in the grid, the total score is calculated
by summing the points for each hand. Points are awared as follows:
